Optimist Clubs are serious about "Bringing Out the Best in Kids" and do their part through community service programs.  Since each Club is autonomous and run by members in their community, Optimists have the unique flexibility to serve the youth of their community in any way they see fit.  Optimist Clubs see a need in their community and react to it.

ILDERTON OPTIMISTS CLUB

Our Optimist Club has been active in this community for 18 years and is 53 members strong and growing. Our members vary from parent(s) of young children to retired couples and individuals. Our positive approach, our upbeat outlook and our commitment to creating a more optimistic future for kids is what differentiates Optimist Clubs from any other volunteer opportunity.

SOCIAL AND NETWORKING

Our club executive meets the second Wednesday of each month to review correspondence and plan for data and staffing of all events. Members and guests are invited to attend for specific requests.

We meet as a club the 4th Wednesday of each month at the Ilderton Community Centre for a terrific catered dinner, fellowship, exchange of ideas and planning for our upcoming events.
